NORWIN HAS TERMINATED ALL AGREEMENTS WITH WESPA

As of 31 October 2012, Norwin has terminated all agreements with WESPA (Wind Engineering SPA) of Italy – including the License Agreement and its amendments.

This means that WESPA is no longer entitled to utilize the Norwin name nor to manufacture, sell, deliver or in any other way deal with turbines designed by Norwin.

We recommend any customers or clients that have been in contact with WESPA in order to purchase equipment of Norwin design to contact Norwin directly in order to get advice on how to proceed on their projects.

NORWIN FORMS A STRATEGIC ALLIANCE WITH CANADIAN ENDURANCE WIND POWER

Norwin has formed a strategic alliance with Endurance Wind Power Inc. – a Canadian manufacturer of advanced 5 to 50kW wind turbines.

The partnership gives Endurance the right to manufacture Norwin’s Danish designed wind turbines. This agreement will allow Endurance to manufacture, market and install Norwin 225 kW wind turbines for the so-called ”emerging markets” for mid-sized turbines.

The first 54-750kW wind turbine - now in operation

On 13 September 2012, the first 54-750kW wind turbine from Aeronautica Wind Power was put into operation at Kenston High School.

The erection started in June 2012 and the whole process has been supervised by Norwin staff. Not only is it the first turbine with the new designed NGA 26 blades, manufactured by Global Blade Technology,  giving a 54 meter rotor diameter and making it possible to capture 20-25% more energy compared to the old rotor, it is also the first turbine equipped with the new MITA controller offering new and advanced features to the active stall regulation, which Norwin and Mita has worked on for the last 1½ year.

This course was such a success that we were asked to give another training course this year - this course has just been held. Like last year, the teachers were Mr. Ole Sangill and Mr. Peter Olesen, and again: the course was a great success!
